Generation 5
Since we still use microprocessors and integrated circuits we are still in the 4th generation, so there is yet to be a 5th generation, but it will probably be based around artificial intelligence, quantum computation, molecular technology, and nanotechnology.
Even now the beginnings of AI are being developed like AI in video games, voice recognition, smart cars, robots, and IBM's Watson supercomputer. The fifth generation will probably have computers that can learn and think for themselves or a new invention created using quantum computation, molecular technology, and nanotechnology that will replace the microprocessor and usher in a new age of computers.
